I teach in a 19th century building at an independent school in the UK (think Harry Potter) and I often remark on how our pupils' educational needs and expectations are no longer served by the system we have in place. However I think we should get passed the stage in which we have identified the problem (there's a quote in the video from 1967!) and move on to suggesting alternative new systems that are pedagogically sound, relevant to today's students and, most importantly, implementable: I'm afraid schools like mine don't do <em>revolution</em>, as there are massive inertial forces at play which strive to keep things as they are.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('142944','José Picardo','That is a powerful video.
