Apple loves teachers

This year I have been quietly amazed my the number of my colleagues who have jumped on the mac band wagon–A biology teacher, a physics teacher, a Spanish teacher, an elementary teacher, an economics teacher, and many others pining for it, including my principal and one of the Utecht tipsters….This is at a school that gave out free laptops (Dell) to teachers who applied. Universally they were looking for a solution–be it weight, productivity, digital integration, aesthetics. All have expressed real and genuine happiness. Not that there has not been growing pains, but they found the macbooks just worked.

Now apple is giving you a big break: aside from the educators discount (Usually $100), they are offering a free ipod.
