I made 'spoken word wall' example with Apple's "Keynote" software. The voice was recorded into it using the Play > Record Slideshow function (during which I clicked through the words). Once the whole sequence (words/animation/voice) was recorded in Keynote I exported the slideshow (File > Export > Quicktime) so it was then a standalone 'movie'.
